Converting Mixed Fractions to Improper Fractions, and vice versa.

Miss Louise´s group is beginning to convert mixed fractions to improper fractions, and vice versa.  This is the website that we used in the lesson to help their understanding.  There is a quick quiz at the end to help revision of this method.  All children are welcome to have a look at it!

To support your child´s learning, we have given your child login details to the Education City website.   There are plenty of child-friendly activities, videos and quizzes for your child to complete.

To access the website click the below link.  It is important that your child does not lose their username and password.  These are all unique and cannot be shared.

To Login your child needs to click on the words LOGIN (top right - see below).

Once they have logged in, their screen looks like the picture below.  At present, the children need to explore the website and complete any activities of their choosing. 

Deberes de Lengua Semana 2 24-04-15

Hola a todos,
Junto con los deberes de esta semana también llevan la ficha de estudio y las fechas de los próximos y últimos exámenes del curso.
La hoja de deberes la recogeré el próximo miércoles 29, al igual que el resumen.
El lunes 27 de abril tendrán un examen de comprensión lectora del libro de autor canario que ya han leído.

La semana del 4 de mayo empezaremos con los exámenes. El lunes tendremos el dictado, el martes el examen de gramática y el miércoles el de expresión escrita.

Extreme Read

Children have been invited to take part in an 'Extreme Read' competition.  This has already been introduced to the children.

Your challenge, should you chose to accept it, is to have a photo taken of you reading a book in an exciting and different place.

The Rules:

•One photo per person

•It needs to be a book that you’ve actually read, or are reading

•Photos need to include your name, class and what the book was (title and author)

•NO PHOTOSHOP!

•Photos need to be given to Miss Chloë on a memory stick BY WEDNESDAY 6th MAY

•DO NOT GO ANYWHERE THAT IS DANGEROUS OR COULD INJURE YOU!

We hope to see lots of interesting photos being submitted.

Deberes de Lengua Semana 1 17-04-15

Hola a todos,
Los deberes de esta semana hacen un repaso de lo trabajado en clase.
Se recogerán el próximo jueves 23.
Esta semana no llevan libro de lectura para realizar el resumen ya que estamos trabajando en clase el libro leído durante las vacaciones y del cual vamos a hacer la comprensión lectora por escrito y que contará como nota.
Volverán a hacer un resumen con el siguiente libro de autor canario y haremos lo mismo que con el anterior.

En breve mandaré información sobre las semanas de exámenes y de los contenidos que serán evaluados.
