As we only have a short week this week, your homework for Maths is to practise your times tables every day! It's really important that you know them off by heart, as we use them for so many things in maths. We'll be checking next week to see if you have learnt them, so please just spend some time every day trying to get them right and then get quicker. Enjoy!

Well done Year 5!

Hello Year 5! Miss Estela, Miss Ali, Mr Sid and Miss Kim would like to say a big thank you to all Year 5 who came on the trip today. We had a really great time, whilst learning lots of interesting facts about our local area and history. Your behaviour was excellent too, so well done! Thanks also to all the parents; the children were well prepared and ready to go. Enjoy the long weekend, and we'll see you bright and early on Monday morning.

Bonus Homework

For this week, the bonus homework is related to our new topic on the Victorians. Your task is to design a room in a Victorian house.You will need a shoe box and any materials to make the furniture and fittings. Be as creative as you like, but make sure it fits the Victorian style. Have fun!

On Tuesday (October 30th) we will be having a Greek Day in Year 5. If you would like to, you can come dressed as an Ancient Greek. We will have a range of Greek themed activities all day to end this topic in a fun way. Enjoy!
