English Big Talk Homework for Big Write Week 7 Term 2A
Dear all,
It is Big Write week again and you will be writing a poem.
To help you with ideas, below is a photo you should use as your setting.
The poem does not need to rhyme, and you can use any of the poetic techniques we have studied,e.g. similes, personification, onomatopoeia, alliteration etc.
You must create a poem, about the setting of the picture, and can add more detail to it.
Think about the temperature, is it cold? Fresh? What does it smell like? What can you hear.
The poem will be in present tense.
Do not write the poem for homework, just discuss with somebody words or phrases you could use, so you have lots of ideas. Big write will be tomorrow (Tuesday).
Also please learn your spellings for next week.
Enjoy lots of talking!
